Any one have any advice about court cards? I get confused about them when an actual person doesn't make sense for the situation. I'm not sure how to extrapolate the meaning out and give it to a feeling or a situation in all cases...

aspects of the querent or someone else
Sat, June 23, 2007 - 9:17 PMI read the courts as aspects of the querent, or sometimes someone else involved in the situation. Queen swords might be talking about a certain kind of strength in rational energy, for example, or page cups might be an early attraction to something.

Re: aspects of the querent or someone else
Sun, June 24, 2007 - 2:15 PMI read the Kings and Queens as people and the other court cards as significators to the "people" and their character, response, action, role etc.
When I first started reading cards, the book my cards came with suggested I go out and meet the people of the tarot, or maybe it said it would happen, either way, it did happen.
