April 1, 1999 is the offical day of opening for my business, The Art of Tarot, todays Aprils Fools marks my eigth year in opreation(same location). At first I laughed in fear pondering the implications of such a start day, the metaphoric connotations could be tragic to say the least but it was the soonest my license would allow and I am not one to wait. So bad omen or not I went for it.

Funny sorta coincidence, the coffee shop I frequent was sold recently and today was the first day for the new owners. I have met quite a few people who's businesses started on an April 1.
